O365 Weekly Digest - 11/04/2019

Every week I'll be posting a quick summary of O365 updates included in the admin weekly digest email that you can sign up for via the admin Message Center: https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home#/MessageCenter - these emails include items posted to the message center over the last week and come out every Monday.

Updated Feature: Zero-hour auto purge: move malware to Quarantine
We are updating Zero-hour auto purge (ZAP) to move malware messages identified post-delivery to Quarantine. New Feature: Teams will soon allow guest access via Gmail address.

New Feature: DKIM key size increased to support 2048-bit
We’re updating the DKIM key size available to Office 365 customers from the current 1024-bit to support 2048-bit key size. Updated Feature: Safe Links for Office client - now supporting Office Online
Safe Links in Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection has been protecting your links in Office Apps on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. We are now extending this protection to Office Online. We will begin gradually rolling this out to all Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (Plan 1 and Plan 2) and all Microsoft 365 E5 customers in late November.The roll out will be completed by the end of December 2019.This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 55394.

New Feature: Group Policy setting shows the Office Insider option to end users

One thing that comes up in every O365 rollout is the need for employees to have some sort of self-service support in O365. In the past this would mean the learning and development teams would have to create artifact on artifact of material to help employees find the answers they are looking for. The learning pathways solution can be customized to the app mix that is used by your organization and brings in the relevant Microsoft resources into an app in your tenant.
