O365 Weekly Digest - 07/08/2019

Every week I'll be posting a quick summary of O365 updates included in the admin weekly digest email that you can sign up for via the admin Message Center: https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home#/MessageCenter - these emails include items posted to the message center over the last week and come out every Monday.

Updates:

• Teams is getting a new send feedback option (Roadmap ID: 52884) 
• You will be able to mention users without the @ prefix in Teams (Roadmap ID: 52966) 
• Outlook on the web's new is experience is becoming default starting with targeted release users on July 22nd. SharePoint and OneDrive will be able to view 360 degree images (Roadmap ID: 49516)  
• Bulk approvals for SharePoint online approvals (Roadmap ID: 52716) 
• Activity Highlights are coming to the file cards hovers (Roadmap ID: 52721)

• Admins can now set offline dataset sizes in PowerBI

New Feature: New capacity settings allow for more control over datasets in PowerBi We are updating the PowerBi capacity settings to allow for more control over datasets. The settings will surface on the portal with default settings. Admins should be able to override the defaults with their preference to better fence their capacity from running into issues and avoid problems before they arise. Keep your Federation Trust up-to-date Act By: Jul 05 Microsoft periodically refreshes certificates in Office 365 as part of our effort to maintain a highly available and secure environment. On July 5th, 2019, we are making a certificate change on our Microsoft Federation Gateway that could affect some customers as detailed in knowledge base article 2928514.

New Feature: Outlook on the web - New experience roll out Major Update: General Availability rollout started Starting on July 22, 2019, the new Outlook on the web will become the default experience for Mail, Calendar, and People and we will remove the opt-in toggle. With this change users will not be able to move back or see the classic experience.
