New Features
SharePoint
- The structural navigation performance banner alert roll-out has been postponed (Roadmap ID: 50442)
- Page authors will now receive emails when there are new comments, replies, and likes (Roadmap ID: 49603)
- Document Sets are coming to the Modern Library in May (Roadmap ID: 33761)
- New Data Bars column formatting in SharePoint lists and libraries (Roadmap ID: 45026)
OneDrive
- OneDrive will begin showing the manage access pane in the classic UI (Roadmap ID: 50730)
- Error resolution process for illegal file and folder names (Roadmap ID: 49314)
Outlook
- Outlook on the web is rolling out a suggested attachments feature (Roadmap ID: 46145)
- Outlook on the web is rolling out a browse rooms feature (Roadmap ID: 50722)
- Android and iOS are getting a Favorite People and notifications functionality to give you quick access to the people you work with most

User and group based assignment in the Azure AD admin center for Microsoft
and LinkedIn integration
We’ve made a change to the LinkedIn account connections setting in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) admin center. Azure AD admins can now enable the ability to connect LinkedIn and Microsoft accounts for a specific group instead of selecting individual users.Note: LinkedIn integration is not fully enabled for your users until they consent to connect their accounts. Office 365 will retire 3DES starting July 10, 2019
Major Update: General Availability Act By: Jul 09 The start date of the retirement of the 3DES cipher has been moved from the previously announced date of February 28th, 2019 to a new start date of July 10, 2019. Based on customer feedback we have updated the timeline to allow additional time for organizations to update older client software and devices that rely on the 3DES cipher. We have identified telemetry issues with the Sharing Report that resulted in inaccurate counts for files shared internally and files shared externally. Business will retire 3DES starting July 10, 2019
